Paris, October 8, 2026 – G7, France’s leading taxi company, is partnering with S3NS, a French company controlled by Thales, whose PREMI3NS offering is SecNumCloud 3.2 qualified by ANSSI, to build a secure sovereign platform. This platform will support the development of G7’s artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance the passenger and driver experience.
In France, the data generated by mobility services constitutes a sensitive asset. Protecting this data against cyber threats and the risks associated with the extraterritorial application of non-European laws has become a major issue for transport operators.
This requirement is part of G7’s ongoing investment strategy. Every year, the company invests €20 million in the development of its own information system and in preserving the confidentiality of all its customers’ data.
Every year, G7 generates large volumes of mobility data. Once anonymised, this data is analysed to improve service quality, optimise operations and better understand customers’ future needs, in strict compliance with the GDPR. Using this data, several services have been developed to deliver an improved customer experience and are already being tested ahead of their deployment on PREMI3NS, the Trusted Cloud by S3NS:
The growing need for the computing and data-processing capabilities required by AI algorithms led G7 to choose PREMI3NS, the Trusted Cloud by S3NS, a Thales subsidiary.
PREMI3NS is the only SecNumCloud 3.2-qualified trusted cloud offering to provide such a broad range of services, including the generation of advanced AI models. The offering meets legal, physical, logical and operational separation requirements, ensuring that data and operations remain under the control of a French entity, with European teams operating from France and dedicated infrastructure. It also incorporates enhanced cybersecurity measures, including control over identities, keys, roots of trust, updates and code auditing, in accordance with the requirements of the SecNumCloud 3.2 framework.
Alongside the management of its data within its data centres located in France, G7 will benefit from this new cloud-based data hosting and processing capability within a trusted cloud environment. This dual capability will enable G7 to accelerate the analysis of large volumes of data and deploy new high-value tools for its passengers and affiliated taxi drivers.
Through this partnership with S3NS, we are strengthening the protection and security of all our customers’ mobility data while increasing our computing and analytical capabilities for anonymised data. This new sovereign platform will enable us to accelerate the deployment of data and AI use cases that are already at the heart of our operations, for the benefit of our passengers and our community of affiliated taxi drivers. This is an important new step in ensuring that our data and innovations remain within a sovereign and secure environment.
