Comparable to the ISO 27001 standard, but specifically adapted to the healthcare context, the HDS certification covers aspects such as physical and logical data security, access management, traceability of operations, and the implementation of protective measures against cyberattacks.

In addition, the French State, through its initiatives, plays an active role in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector, by supporting major initiatives such as the Health Data Hub, a national platform dedicated to the sharing and secure analysis of healthcare data.
