Located at Paul-Brousse Hospital, within the GHU AP-HP.Université Paris-Saclay, the BOPA Innovation Chair is a pioneering innovation hub dedicated to the digital transformation of operating rooms. By acting at every stage of the care of patients undergoing hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgery, the BOPA Innovation Chair aims to improve the quality and safety of care through the implementation of concrete digital solutions adopted by caregivers, interoperable, and sustainable from a financial and environmental perspective.

The collaboration with S3NS is part of a dynamic effort to integrate the power of the Trusted Cloud into a highly sensitive medical environment, with strong guarantees of cybersecurity, sovereignty, and compliance. Data collected and analyzed for projects such as surgical procedure analysis, surgical simulation, and patient pathway optimization will be migrated to a cloud infrastructure operated in France by S3NS, compliant with the requirements of the SecNumCloud certification targeted in the coming months.

CEO - S3NS

The healthcare sector has been undergoing a technological revolution in recent years, accelerated by the Covid-19 crisis and the emergence of artificial intelligence. This transformation is leading to exponential growth in health data, which is increasingly used to improve diagnoses, define personalized treatments, and strengthen prevention. However, this dynamic poses major challenges in terms of security, sovereignty, and regulatory compliance, as health data is among the most sensitive.

S3NS is working closely with key healthcare players, namely GRADeS¹ and the startup Posos², to support the sector's digital transformation within a secure and sovereign framework.

This new initiative with the BOPA Innovation Chair illustrates the ability of the Trusted Cloud to meet the challenges of the hospital sector by providing a secure and agile environment for projects as critical as those led by the BOPA Innovation Chair.

¹GRADeS (Regional eHealth Development Support Group) is a regional public body, mandated by the Digital Health Agency (ANS), which supports the implementation of digital health services in the regions, in collaboration with healthcare professionals, establishments, and institutions.

²Posos, for its part, is a French healthtech startup developing a therapeutic decision-making support platform for healthcare professionals, combining artificial intelligence and a medical knowledge base, while guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of health data.
