Almost a year ago, we launched our Early Access Program for PREMI3NS, the Trusted Cloud by S3NS. Initially intended for a select group of clients, we opened it to all our customers and partners in mid-January 2025, in parallel with the SecNumCloud qualification process.

The objectives of this program were multiple: to allow our clients to discover the richness of the offer, to test our processes under real conditions, to demonstrate to the SecNumCloud evaluators that our security operations are conducted in accordance with the high expectations of the ANSSI framework.

This program involved many of S3NS's operational teams: the Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) teams, cybersecurity, and the teams present in the datacenters, not to mention all the customer-facing teams, particularly the Support, Technical Account Manager (TAM), and Customer Engineers (CE) teams.

EAP participants are supported by S3NS dedicated teams for their success

The success of this program largely rests on our datacenter teams, who have been working for several months to prepare the physical infrastructure. These teams are spread across three distinct datacenters in the Paris region to carry out all the necessary day-to-day hardware operations.

For the launch of this program, our SRE teams, who are responsible for the many services of the Cloud infrastructure, were fully prepared and trained. The goal of this full-scale test was twofold: to put our procedures to the test and to ensure their level of operational excellence.

For over two years, the Support and TAM teams have been assisting our clients who use the CRYPT3NS offering. This service relies on Google Cloud services complemented by an S3NS-managed encryption solution. Their tools and processes are established and proven, which allows us to provide high-quality support to our clients.

When it comes to the Security teams, they were able to produce evidence of a system in production with real users, as requested for the SecNumCloud evaluation.

An EAP program that has been widely embraced

Our early access program saw strong engagement, with over fifty customers, SI (system integrator) partners, and ISV (independent software vendor) partners on the platform.

The clients and partners enrolled in this program were able to test the various services and hardware that are currently undergoing SecNumCloud qualification by ANSSI. Once this process is complete, the services offered by S3NS will represent the richest offering ever qualified under this framework. They will be progressively enriched by following the defined SecNumCloud framework.

Some clients have used this time to initiate migrations and build new services so they would be ready on launch day and when SecNumCloud qualification is obtained.

This period also allowed our partners to showcase their expertise on Google Cloud while identifying and documenting service distinctions on the PREMI3NS, the Trusted Cloud by S3NS.

As for software vendors, they have validated their solutions' operability and are now ready to meet the demands of clients requiring a qualified Trusted Cloud hosting.

Thanks to their feedback and use cases, we were able to improve and refine services, optimize our internal operational processes, and confirm the service expansion roadmap.
